1 ext. Outside a house in New York
Denzel is standing outside the flats oN the streets of Harlem. Across the street Denzel can see some young people selling crack to people.
Malcolm:
yo man wanna buy some drugs?
Rick:
Yeah man
Malcolm:
that will be hundred dollars
As Rick pulls out the money the dealer starts to become more nervous, then he starts to mess with his pockets
Rick:
Yo man whats wrong with you?
Malcolm:
shut up and hurry up
Malcolm then pulls out a gun. Rick stands there in shock, then for no reason at all Malcolm shoots Rick. As Rick falls to the ground there is a silence in the air. Then from the gun shot people from all around run in panic as Malcolm starts to fire his gun in the air as people are running, The police arrive the policeand ask Malcolm to put down the gun but Malcolm keeps firing the gun in the air and screaming his head off. The police keep asking him to put his gun down but he keeps firing. The police ask him one last time but Malcolm just keeps shooting the gun in the air. The police just open fire and Malcolm falls to the ground with blood pouring out of his body. One of the police officers shoots him in the head killing him. Within seconds after everything that has just happened Denzel just stands there in horror and puts his hands on his face with a tear running down his face and walks off with his face in horror thinking about what he just saw and thinking how he could have stopped it. He gets home and has a strong coffee and has something to eat then he goes to bed hoping tomorrow will be a fresh start.
INT.2 inside Denzel's house
Denzel gets a phone call from his friend Wayne
Wayne:
yo man can you come meet me?
Denzel:
yeah man where?
Wayne:
outside the empire state building
Denzel:
Yeah man no problem
Denzel starts to get dressed, cleans his teeth, pulls up his hair, puts a pimp type suit on and leaves the house to meet Wayne outside the empire state building.
Wayne:
Yo man what up?
Denzel:
not much man you?
Wayne:
cool man lets get down to business
Denzel:
what do you want me to do man?
Wayne:
I need you to pay someone a visit for me
Denzel:
Who?
Wayne:
Jack Howard
Denzel walks off with a smile on his face.
Int.3 Jack Howard's house
Jack is sitting in the living room smoking on a pipe when he hears a knock at the front door and walks to the door and opens it
Jack:
can i help you?
Denzel:
I am here on some business for Wayne
Jack panics and slams the front door shut. Denzel quickly kicks the front door open chasing Jack into the bedroom. Jack runs to the chest of drawers trying to find his gun but Denzel quickly comes running in jumping on Jacks back making him fall to the floor. As they keep struggling Jack reaches for a lamp and whacks Denzel around the head with it. Jack then quickly runs to get the gun Denzel quickly gets up and rugby tackles him to the ground. As they fight a gun shot goes off and Jacks falls to the ground as a round went off a bullet went into Jacks head
Denzel:
Shit
Denzel looks at the body for a while then he picks up the body and drags it down the lift and put the body inside the truck of his car Denzel then drives to a bridge and dumps the body in a bag and throws it into a river.
Denzel:
Better call Wayne tell him what happened
Denzel calls Wayne
Wayne:
yo man what up?
Denzel:
Its done I ended up killing him
